Palestine Solidarity Campaign: PROTEST: Boycott Israeli goods

Over the past weeks, reports have emerged that the British government is considering banning goods from Israel’s illegal settlements.
For years we’ve been calling for a ban on the import of Israeli produce, along with a wider end to trade with Israel that sustains its apartheid regime. But we’re not waiting for the government to decide what to do, we’re acting now against trade that profits from Israel’s crimes.
This Saturday, as part of our Don’t Buy Apartheid campaign, we’re protesting at supermarkets across Britain demanding that they stop selling Israeli goods and Coca-Cola products. Will you join your local action?
Israeli produce is grown and harvested on land stolen from Palestinians. Coca-Cola operates a bottling plant in an illegal Israeli settlement near Jerusalem. By selling these products, supermarkets are supporting Israel’s land theft and contributing to Israel’s apartheid economy.
That means the dates or avocadoes marked ‘Product of Israel’ at your local supermarket chain, or the Coca-Cola cans in the beverages aisle, are connected to the horrific settler violence you’ve been seeing on the news.
Last week, we protested inside an ASDA supermarket in central London, demanding that they take Israeli fresh produce and Coca-Cola off the shelves.

In the West Bank, Palestinians are facing relentless military and settler assaults as part of a campaign to push them from their homes and land. Meanwhile in the Gaza Strip, Israel’s genocide continues.
Palestinians, facing down these atrocities, ask us to boycott companies that enable Israeli apartheid, and to pressure supermarkets to stop stocking these products.
It is long past time for the government to ban all trade that aids or assists Israel’s unlawful occupation, apartheid and genocide. Until they do, we’ll continue to demand that Israeli goods and Coca-Cola products are removed from supermarket shelves.
