Palestine Solidarity Campaign: ACTION: Ban Israel from sport

This week, the World Ultimate Frisbee Club Championships begin in Ireland. Palestinians are calling for the exclusion of the team from Israel, New Age Ultimate.

Can you write to the British teams to ask them to support the exclusion of the Israeli team and refuse to play against it?

Sport in Israel is deeply embedded in Israel’s genocide and apartheid. The Israeli Flying Disc Association (IFDA), of which New Age Ultimate is a part, has dedicated a limited edition frisbee to Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip and organised tournaments for soldiers committing genocide.

Moreover, the IFDA includes teams based in illegal Israeli settlements built on stolen Palestinian land whose residents have been forcibly dispossessed. This means the IFDA is helping to sustain Israel’s illegal military occupation.

Take action today by writing to the British teams participating in the tournament asking that they support the Palestinian call for Israel to be excluded and refuse to play against the Israeli team.
