Holtec is out to flatter new New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill who has appointed a paid Holtec lobbyist to sit on her newly created Nuclear Task Force and is gung-ho to expand nuclear power in her state, writes Sharleen Leahey.

Willingly bamboozled in NJ

New Jersey Governor Mike Sherrill (pictured) has chosen to join the willingly bamboozled, courted by Holtec into agreeing to new nuclear power projects in the state. To ease the way, she signed legislation into law that overturned a 50-year moratorium on the construction of new nuclear reactors in the state. The law was fast-tracked through both chambers of the state legislature in less than a month. READ MORE
