Ban Military Air Shows - sign the petition, read the MAW newsletter!

Dear Peace Group supporter,

Below is a petition to ban military airshows that you can sign on-line. They are wrong in so many ways – do follow the link to learn more! There has not been a military airshow in Abingdon for years, although “Abingdon Air and Country Show” did use to have flypasts I believe. Mercifully it has been cancelled this year, as has RIAT – the Royal International Air Tattoo usually held at Fairford USAF base in the Cotswolds. They couldn’t be sure the runway wouldn’t be needed for launching bombing raids on Iran!

We need to keep up the pressure to say “not wanted here”.
