The Sun – April AIRBASE BLAZE – Large fire erupts at UK RAF base being used by US bombers including B-52s during Iran war
A MAJOR fire has broken out at an RAF base where US bombers used in the offensive against Iran are housed.
An investigation has been started after one of the buildings at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire caught ablaze in the early hours of the morning.
A video shows a huge inferno, with flames engulfing the former commissary building on the perimeter of the base during the night.
