Palestine Solidarity Campaign
Posted: 3rd May 2026

I’m sure you’ve been hearing reports this morning that Keir Starmer has added his voice to the chorus of those calling for more restrictions on our marches for Palestine. The pressure is mounting in the run up to our Nakba Day march on 16 May, but we cannot let our movement be stopped now at this critical moment. We need you to join us on the streets of London on 16 May.
This week we announced the route of our march. Please share it on social media to help spread the word that we will proudly march on 16 May.
Share the march info on XShare the march info on instagramYesterday we published a
statement together with the rest of the march organisers pushing back against cynical moves by politicians and parts of the media to conflate our peaceful marches for Palestine with totally unconnected acts of violence. We utterly reject this conflation, along with any attempts to conflate Jewish people with the actions and policies of apartheid Israel.
Mainstream media is trumpeting those dangerous formulations and giving platform to those who use misinformation to call for our marches to be suppressed.
The best way we can push back is to put our message out clearly and to mobilise for the march.Share our statement on XShare our statement on instagramOn 16 May we will march, as we do every year, to commemorate the Nakba—the catastrophe Israel has inflicted on the Palestinian people since 1948. We march to demand an end to the British government’s shameful complicity in Israel’s apartheid and genocide and to amplify the Palestinian call for justice and return.
This year we are also marching to oppose Tommy Robinson and his racist far right supporters mobilising on the same day, and to reject their hateful ideology and actions. Our march will bring together people from all backgrounds and walks of life, and in our huge numbers we will reaffirm our opposition to all forms of racism including anti-Palestinian racism, Islamophobia and antisemitism.
We need every anti-racist and anti-fascist and all people who care about justice with us on the streets of London on 16 May.
The far right wants to divide us and drive us off the streets. The government wants us to give up on our solidarity with the Palestinian people.
On Saturday 16 May, join us on this historic march to show that unity and solidarity will prevail.
Join us in London, Saturday 16 MayIn solidarity,
Ryvka
