Will you write to the Prime Minister to demand that he cancels all government contracts with Palantir?

Government departments and police forces in Britain are handing huge sums of public money to Palantir, a notorious US corporation that supplies Israel with AI and surveillance technology used as an essential part of its genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.  

Will you write to the Prime Minister to demand that he cancels all government contracts with Palantir?

Palantir holds contracts worth hundreds of millions of pounds with various government departments. This includes a £330 million contract with the NHS to develop a Federated Data Platform to store patient medical data, and a £240 million contract with the Ministry of Defence.  

In addition, the company is signing contracts with police forces in Britain. For example, in February, the London Met Police awarded Palantir a contract worth nearly £500,000 to use the company’s operating system as part of its “professional services function.” This week, reports have surfaced suggesting that the Met Police is in talks with Palantir to discuss using its technology in criminal investigations.

This is despite the company’s role in enabling Israel’s genocide and apartheid against Palestinians. In January 2024, Palantir entered into a “strategic partnership” with Israel’s Ministry of Defence to develop technology and tools to be used in “war-related missions.” This technology has been used to accelerate Israel’s genocide in Gaza, by using AI technology to rapidly generate targets for its bombing campaigns which have destroyed entire neighbourhoods, schools and hospitals.

Write to Keir Starmer to demand he intervenes to cancel all contracts with Palantir.

It is deeply troubling that this company, with close ties to the Trump administration, is being given access to sensitive NHS patient medical data, as well as data concerning the activity of police forces.  

Take action today to demand all contracts with Palantir are cancelled.
