Tell the Met Police & London Mayor:
Palestine won’t be pushed out by Tommy Robinson

This Nakba Day, we will march

Far-right leader Tommy Robinson, well known for his fascist beliefs and incitement of hatred, has called a central London demo on 16th May – the same day as the annual march commemorating the Palestine Nakba or ‘catastrophe’.

Scandalously, the Metropolitan Police have allowed Tommy Robinson the whole of Whitehall, Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square, while refusing to give the Palestine movement their route, as officially requested before Xmas 2025.

The 2026 Nakba marks 78 years since the ethnic cleansing of Palestinian people from their lands and Israel’s continuing violence. Every year, we march in London on the closest Saturday to Nakba day to affirm the rights of Palestinians and demand an end to Britain’s complicity.

As Israel resumes its attacks on Gaza (with bombardments almost every day over the past month), we cannot allow the question of Palestine to be marginalised on this crucial day.

Take action using our campaign tool – email Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mark Rowley and London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Anti-war MPs are also turning up the heat on the police and London Mayor over this outrageous decision.

Look out for the Early Day Motion (EDM) being tabled TONIGHT in Parliament by John McDonnell MP. As a follow up action, we will ask you to circulate the EDM to your own MP to sign.

Hands Off Iran Webinar – Tonight, 7pm

Last week the world watched in horror as Trump threatened the annihilation of Iran. After less than a week of ceasefire, the US has announced a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, while Israel intensifies its war on Lebanon.

Starmer clearly wants to cling on to the ‘special relationship’ – even as Trump insults him personally – enabling the use of British bases for the US campaign against Iran while pretending not to be involved in the war.

To find out more about where these momentous events may lead, join our webinar with CND TONIGHT - with Diane Abbott, Maryam Eslamdoust, Tariq Ali, Sophie Bolt and Lindsey German.
