Plans for a large new building at the Coulport nuclear armaments depot
have been submitted. The three-storey building, which would be used for
warehousing, offices, assembly and training, would have a gross internal
floor area of 2606 square metres. Argyll and Bute Council planners have
already said that an Environmental Impact Assessment is not required, and
the detailed plans are now on the authority’s website.
