Support CND's campaign against nuclear escalation in the UK

CND has called a national demonstration at RAF Marham, where the UK government plans to station new nuclear-capable F-35 jets. The government’s decision to purchase these ‘nuke jets’ represents a reckless nuclear escalation. It comes as the hands of the Doomsday clock have been moved closer to midnight, showing that we have never been closer to global catastrophe. Please help us to grow the opposition to these dangerous developments.

• Increase the number of campaign resources, such as placards and banners, that we are able to bring on the day.
• Raise awareness of what’s happening at RAF Marham ahead of the demonstration, by running ads and creating content for social media.
• Fund travel for young people hoping to attend their first protest outside a military base. 
• Invest in high-quality sound equipment to ensure that those on the base hear our message loud and clear! 

The cost of purchasing these nuke jets will be on top of the £205 billion that the UK is already spending to replace Britain’s deadly nuclear-submarines. This is money that could be used to tackling real human security concerns, such as climate change and child poverty, rather than buying further weapons of mass destruction. 

But as the threats of nuclear war increase, so is the opposition. Help us to build the strongest movement we can to oppose this nuclear escalation and work towards a peaceful, nuclear-free future.
