Palantir and Mandelson - sign the Foxglove petition

‘The investigations launched into Mandelson so far focus on his historical conduct, with Epstein. But we need to know this as well: what did Mandelson do for Palantir?

Here’s what we do know:

• On 27 February 2025, Mandelson – then UK Ambassador to the US – accompanied Keir Starmer on a visit to the Washington headquarters of controversial US Spy Tech corporation Palantir. No official record has been published: no minutes, no transcript.
• At the time, Palantir was a client of Global Counsel, the lobbying firm Mandelson founded.
• Since then, Palantir has signed a £240 million deal with the Ministry of Defence, on top of its £480 million contract to manage sensitive NHS patient data.

Foxglove has been raising the alarm about Palantir for five years. Now we’re demanding that Keir Starmer and the Cabinet Secretary urgently investigate whether Mandelson used his position as Ambassador to the US to unfairly benefit the secretive US tech company.’ [Foxglove website]

Foxglove have started this petition to call on Keir Starmer and the UK Cabinet Secretary to:

– Disclose information about Mandelson’s involvement in any contracts or deals between the UK Government and Palantir
– Fully examine whether there may have been any inappropriate sharing of information with Palantir by Peter Mandelson.
– Disclose information about the organisation of the visit to Palantir’s Washington HQ, and Mandelson’s role in it
