Inside men are wielding the rubber stamp at NRC

The latest reshuffle at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission lands an inside man from the agency’s secretive shadow regulator in the chairman’s seat. Likely illegal machinations by Trump have ensured a 3-2 majority vote of yes-men on the commission as accelerated reactor license applications begin to land on their desks. The conning of Canadians 

As premiers across Canada as well as the country’s prime minister wax enthusiastic over nuclear power (including to power oil extraction from the tar sands, contradicting any “climate” arguments) what they aren’t disclosing is that taxpayers will be enriching nuclear companies for reactor schemes that may never materialize. The promises made are delusions but are offered as sooting fairy tales as our consumption continues to soar, making any “solution” problematic. READ MORE
