“Accept losing our children,” demands France’s Chief of the General Staff.
It`s unbearable!
The highest-ranking French officer, Chief of the General Staff Fabien Mandon, gave a speech on Tuesday before the 107th Congress of French Mayors about preparations for war against Russia. At its core, the issue was about “the interests of the country”, “fighting power” and the attribute that he believed was still missing:
The population lacks the psychological willingness to sacrifice their children for this.
To change this, he called for the active support of mayors, because as “the first point of contact with the population, they are the best mediators to shape awareness locally – for the fatherland”. The scandal triggered by the war speech followed immediately…
Mandon said, and I quote: “What we lack [...] is the strength to hurt ourselves in order to protect who we are.”
And to make that more concrete, he emphasized : “Our country is weakening if it is not prepared to lose its children.”
That`s completely paradoxical!
The most precious thing in this world, our most valuable treasures, are our children! Are we supposed to sacrifice exactly what we want to protect? Short: Protect your children, by sacrificing them.
