One of our Global Network members from Japan has sent this message with 2 videos about US-Japan major military expansion in Japan, Okinawa and the island chains
While you can’t likely understand Japanese (click on subtitles setting for English) there are many photos/graphics which would give you a good idea if you clicked thru the video to see what is going on
In any war with China, Japan and Okinawa would be wiped out – as likely would South Korea and other US bases in Guam, Philippines, etc. So folks there are organzing and very worried. Of course most Americans have no idea.

[ Okinawa and Ryukyu Island being made into Missile firing bases ] I’ve just paraphrased below one part of my special interest.
Local people in and around Yufuin are up against this SDF move. I handed to some of them several copies of the booklet of the Arsenal Hypocrasy in my translation. Long time has passed since the SDI announcement but it is now ostensibly on the table, aimed at China, as you said in 2003.
