Hi all,

Say NO to Trump!      On Saturday 20th September. 

I’ve come to the conclusion that what is going on in Gaza is really the frontline battle of a wider war between the ordinary people of the world and the global war machine. And the truth is we, the people, do not have control of our so-called ‘democratic’ governments… they are part of the war machine! 

Next week Trump will be welcomed by our Government and Royalty.. while US nuclear weapons have already arrived back in Britain – at the Lakenheath NATO base in Suffolk. These deadly weapons make us all a target. And they increase the risk of Britain being dragged into Trump’s reckless wars.  

On Saturday 20th September – part of the actions to condemn Trump’s shameful state visit – there will be a protest at Lakenheath American Airbase to say loud and clear that neither he nor his nuclear bombs are welcome here!  Some of us from Abingdon, Didcot and Oxford joined the peace camp actions at Lakenheath in April.. let’s take our banners to
Lakenheath again!  

Join the coach going from Oxford to Lakenheath, £15 per person.  It leaves from the Taylorian Institute in Oxford at 8.30am… I’m sure we can organise cars to bring people from Didcot and from Abingdon into Oxford.  The google form is now live for bookings.
