Invitation to Abingdon Peace Group's Hiroshima Day lantern-floating ceremony Weds 6 August evening

Abingdon Peace Group would be delighted if you could join us for a simple ceremony on the evening of Weds 6th August to mark the 80th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. We will start with drinks and a chance to look at our Hiroshima Exhibition at 7pm, progress to the ceremony round the Peace Pole in St EThelwolds Garden at 7.30pm and then process to the River THames to float the Lanterns and candles around 8pm.
