They set out CND’s opposition to the increase in military spending to 5% of GDP and to the buying of US military jets which may well carry so called tactical nuclear weapons.

These very serious developments make it even more important that we remember the bombing of Hiroshima and remind the world of the appalling nature of these weapons.

Our commemoration of Hiroshima will take place in the Cathedral churchyard on Saturday 2nd August from 11am-Midday. There will be readings, songs from the Clarion singers and silent reflection . Please come if you can and let me know if you are able to read something.
