Yesterday over 350,000 of us marched in London to demand: end the genocide, stop arming Israel, stop starving Gaza, and no war on Iran.

Since then hundreds more Palestinians have been killed and Donald Trump has dragged the United States into Israel’s illegal war against Iran. We need to redouble our efforts to stop Israel’s attacks.

By working together we can end British complicity in these war crimes and end the impunity which Israel needs in order to carry out this genocide.

In the past 48 hours over 200 Palestinians have been killed and over 1000 wounded in Gaza. Starving Palestinians are being lured to their deaths in so-called ‘aid distribution sites’ whilst trying to access food.

Omar al-Hobi, a displaced Palestinian in Khan Younis, described these distribution sites to Al Jazeera as “the point of death. The tank is in front of us, the machinegun is in front of us, and the quadcopter is above us, and there are soldiers on the ground with snipers. Anyone who moves before the time is shot, and the moment the tank retreats, we start running”.

Israel is using starvation as a weapon in its genocide against Palestinians. They are only able to do so due to the international support they have from countries like Britain. We are campaigning in every arena to end this complicity. Peter, can you support us to end this barbarity?

Emboldened by the total impunity afforded to it by Western governments including Britain, Israel has expanded its murderous carnage across the Middle East with 9 days of air strikes on Iran, killing hundreds including women and children.

Disgracefully, Donald Trump has now joined in on these illegal attacks, with the United States dropping 30,000 pound bombs on Iranian nuclear sites. Former human rights lawyer Keir Starmer, instead of condemning these flagrant breaches of international law and dangerous escalations, has supported the United States’ illegal actions.

It is clear that Israel is a rogue state which must be stopped, but that our leaders will not restrain Israel of their own accord. We need to continue to build a mass movement which forces our government to impose a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel and introduce wide ranging sanctions on Israel and all its government ministers, including Benjamin Netanyahu.

Can you help us build this movement?

Yes, I can help

The 350,000 who marched yesterday and the millions more who support us across the country know that we are on the right side of history. The British state knows that we are the majority and that its unwavering support for Israel is a fringe position completely out of step with public opinion.

That is why, as the voices demanding action grow louder, they are ramping up their efforts to silence us. They claim that those marching to end a genocide and against ethnic cleansing are hate marchers. They claim that those opposing the illegal bombing of the Middle East are threatening our security. They claim that the peaceful protestors carrying flowers for all those killed in Gaza, including an 87 year old Holocaust survivor, are a threat to the Jewish community. And they claim that those, such as Palestine Action, who take non-violent direct action against the flow of weapons to Israel are terrorists.

But we know the truth. And we will not be silenced.

Keep marching, keep campaigning, keep speaking out and please donate what you can to help us continue our work.
