Tomorrow, Saturday 21 June, we will march from Russell Square to Whitehall for Palestine and an end to Israel’s escalating violence. Right now, we need a huge turnout on the streets of London. Will you join us?
Join the march for PalestineWe are now 20 months into Israel’s genocide, and new footage emerges every day of the unconscionable violence Israel continues to unleash upon the Palestinian people. In just one atrocity alone this week, the Israeli military again opened fire on Palestinians waiting for flour at a supposed aid site, killing at least 51 people.
Emboldened by the ongoing military, diplomatic, and political support provided by western governments, including Britain, Israel continues to bomb and deliberately starve Palestinians, is intensifying its land grabs and attacks in the West Bank, and has now launched an illegal assault in Iran killing hundreds of civilians.
Join the march for PalestineThe responsibilities on the British government could not be clearer – we need concrete actions, not empty words. Join us tomorrow at 12noon in Russell Square to demand that the government imposes a comprehensive arms embargo on Israel and introduces wide-ranging sanctions immediately.
Now more than ever, our growing movement must continue to take inspiration from the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, who as Omar Barghouti says, do not have the luxury of genocide fatigue, and who continue to resist erasure in their decades long struggle for liberation.
Join the march for PalestineThat is why we need you to join us tomorrow, Saturday 21 June at 12noon in Russell Square to demand the British government stop arming Israel, to call for an immediate end to the genocide, and no wider war. Please be aware that the weather forecast is very hot, so come prepared with plenty of water, suncream, hats and umbrellas for shade.
See you there, and as always, thank you for everything that you do.
In solidarity,
Celie,
