  • Two Palestine Action activists broke into RAF Brize Norton and damaged two planes, using e-scooters to zip around the base. The group said the incident took place due to flights departing daily from the base to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, “a base used for military operations in Gaza and across the Middle East”.

NATO / Europe

  • Finnish lawmakers have voted to exit the Ottawa Convention treaty which outlaws the use of landmines. It comes as the ICRC warns that civilians will pay the price if the global commitment to ban their use is allowed to fracture.
