At first, President Trump warned, “there will be bombing” if Iran did not entirely dismantle its uranium enrichment program. But during negotiations, the White House has hinted it may allow Tehran to enrich to commercial grade. The deal that emerges could look very like the one Trump broke in 2018, unless he heeds the wild rhetoric of Democratic Senator John Fetterman, who has called on the US and Israel to drop 30,000 pound bombs on Iran’s nuclear facilities, a reckless act that would have catastrophic consequences.
