GDAMS Appeal & April 28 action toolkit

Apologies for any cross-posting but, as part of the Global Campaign on Military Spending, we wanted to share you this:

Next Monday (April 28) we’re publishing a 1st list of organizations endorsing our Appeal for this Global Days of Action on Military Spending (GDAMS), which demands governments across the world an end to arms racing and militarization. We would love to have your organization endorsing it, and any help reaching out to others would be very much appreciated. You can sign it by filling this form or by simply replying to this email. The Appeal is also available in Italian, French, Korean, German, Spanish, and Catalan.

Also, April 28 is, in fact, our biggest day of action, as SIPRI releases new data on global military expenditures. We expect staggering figures, adding to a grim context of escalating violence and warmongering. For that reason, we’re preparing strong media work and a social media storm. It’d be lovely if you could join us in that too.
