MAP/Christian Aid/Save the Children campaign: Don’t let the UK be an ally to Atrocities

The Britain Palestine Project commends the initiative below by Medical Aid for Palestinians, Christian Aid and Save the Children.

It spells out actions our Government should take now to uphold and implement international law without fear or favour – our Government’s stated intent.

But policy statements are not enough.

We seek
- the immediate release of all hostages and arbitrarily detained Palestinians;
- implementation of phases 2 and 3 of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, as originally agreed and signed;
- meaningful consequences for breaking that ceasefire.

Our Government is rightly swift to condemn Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. Israel’s unlawful occupation of Gaza, East Jerusalem and the rest of the West Bank breaks the self-same laws.
