BMA: Stop censoring Palestine solidarity! Add your name to the open letter

In the midst of an ongoing genocide, the BMA junior doctors conference agenda committee have censored all motions on Palestine solidarity.

Doctors in the BMA have started an open letter, calling on the committee to reverse this decision and to protect democracy within the union.

If you’re a doctor, please add your name to the open letter! And whoever you are, please share with your doctor friends, family and colleagues.

In recent weeks, we have seen further attempts from the government to make our solidarity seem illegitimate, through crackdowns on protests and expanding the definition of ‘extremism’. These actions, and the censorship at the BMA junior doctors conference, are adding to a chilling effect, designed to hold people back from speaking out in the name of justice.

But we can’t let our government, our unions, or our institutions stop our solidarity when it is needed most.

Sign the open letter to push back, and tell them we won’t be silenced!
