Dear Friends

Peace Day Live 21 September is now behind us and its fantastic success was due to the engagement and commitment of individuals and organisations all over the world.

The broadcast featured incredible actors, musicians, business leaders, activists, and thought leaders from around the world for special interviews, Words of Peace, musical performances and panel discussions. If you missed the broadcast, look out for the full playout being released on our social media every day. You can also watch the Peace Day Live highlights film by clicking the link here as well as our latest introductory film here.

Peace One Day’s mission is to expose people to the messages of diversity, inclusion, equality, justice, climate action, peace and the mobilisation of youth. Awareness manifests action and action reduces violence, as we change our behaviour towards each other and our environment. To that end, I am delighted to provide the link here for the 21 September 2021 report which demonstrates substantial growth from last year. We are thrilled with this result and look forward to growing this number year on year.

We now look forward to our final experience of the year on 21 December.  Space Transformers Live is recognising, celebrating and telling the stories of some of the most profound young thinkers, all of whom are under the age of 30, who are carrying out action to transform the lives of others.  It is a celebration of their work.  How do we raise awareness and manifest action amongst young people globally in relation to the great challenges we face?  The answer is simple – demonstrate that every young person has the ability to transform the space around them.  After 22 years of being on the road with Peace One Day, I wholeheartedly believe that the answer lies within constructive narrative and storytelling that informs, inspires and engages young individuals across the world.

Twitter is once again our Awareness Partner and we are also partnering with some of the most important organisations in the world who are committed to peace and sustainability such as the UN Department for Peacekeeping Operations; the Kofi Annan Foundation; the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies; SDG Action Campaign, as well as of course other long-term partners. The show is held together by international artists and their musical contributions, as well as wonderful actors for our Words of Peace strand.

Tune in to Space Transformers Live on 21 December @PeaceOneDay on Twitter or at peaceoneday.org. Make sure to follow our social media via the links below as more information will be available when we start marketing the experience in the run up 21 December.

Thank you for your continued support, and we hope you’ll tune in to Space Transformers Live on 21 December!

In Peace
