Tonight (6.30pm) we’re hosting an online public meeting to discuss the situation in Palestine and what trade unionists can do to build the growing mass movement here in support of the Palestinian struggle.

We’re going to be joined by Palestinian activist & academic, Mahmoud Zwahre, who will be speaking to us from the West Bank. Mahmoud has been involved in mobilizing Palestinians in popular resistance over the last two decades and has been involved in the farmer unions campaigns – defending their land and protecting them from setters attacks. We’re very pleased to have him join us and look forward to hearing what he has to to say.

Alongside him we’ll be joined by RMT President Alex Gordon, Louise Regan (NEU International Committee Chair & Palestine Solidarity Campaign Vice Chair), Sean Vernell (UCU NEC) and Lindsey German (Stop the War Convenor), for what promises to be a very informative meeting.

Please make sure you register in advance in order to receive the link before the meeting starts and don’t hesitate to pass the registration page link on to any contacts you have in the unions who might be interested in building the movement at this vital time.
