Martin Bell and Ben Griffin in discussion 'on peace' on UN International Day of Peace

Event Date: 21st September 2022
Location: Internet 7 pm

At 7 pm Wednesday 21 September the Movement for the Abolition of War is holding this event in central London. It is both in-person and on-line.

MAW Vice-President Martin Bell, known to millions as a distinguished former war correspondent, will exchange ideas with Ben Griffin, a former SAS soldier, who you may recall visited us in Abingdon a few years ago and gave an inspiring talk. After leaving the army he became a central figure in Veteran for Peace UK. The two men will talk about their experiences, share insights and discuss how to stimulate a public debate on peace before taking questions live and via streaming for those participating remotely. Don’t pass up the chance to be part of this significant and exciting joint Movement for the Abolition of War/Veterans for Peace encounter!

Venue: The Brockway Room, Conway Hall, Red Lion Square, London WC1R 4RL Register with Eventbrite for in-person & on-line at https://tinyurl.com/32keh286
