Just a reminder that tomorrow evening at 8pm on Zoom, we are lucky to have John Gittings giving us his thoughts on the situation in Ukraine. Titled “Can Diplomacy Prevent a LOnger War in Ukraine?” John will talk us through the dilemmas for peace activists: Ukrainian people want to win the war and regard foreign hesitation as back-sliding; but war is a breach of the UN Charter and a violation of human values, as well as a possible existential threat, and the interest of peace demands that it be stopped as soon as possible.
