Robert Rosner is current chair of the Bulletin’s Science and Security Board and is the William E. Wrather Distinguished Service Professor in the Departments of Astronomy & Astrophysics and Physics, and the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Rosner is a professor of astronomy, astrophysics, and physics, and in 2020 was elected to the presidential line of the American Physical Society.
