We’re very pleased to host Dave Cullen, Policy Fellow and Programme Manager at BASIC. Dave will speak about the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, reasons for its success since being adopted by the UN 30 years ago, and whether its norms are under threat given ongoing geopolitical tensions.
Scottish CND Chair Lynn Jamieson will also give a campaigning perspective on what lessons anti-nuclear campaigners can learn from the success of the test-ban treaty, and the importance on international agreements curtailing nuclear weapons use and development.
