Join the emergency protest outside Downing Street

Event Date: 26th October 2026
Location: Outside Downing Street Monday 26 October at 6PM!

Israel’s escalating violence and lockdown across the West Bank must be opposed.Join the emergency protest outside Downing Street tomorrow Monday 26 October at 6PM!

Palestinians across the West Bank are facing a devastating escalation in Israel’s brutal occupation, with several areas completely locked down and besieged by the Israeli military. In the past two days in Hebron, more than 2,000 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced by Israeli soldiers, with entire neighbourhoods razed by bulldozers with only minutes notice to the panicked residents. Mass home demolitions, arrest raids and violent attacks are part of a collective punishment campaign against the entire Palestinian population, a feature of Israel’s apartheid regime.

We must stand with the Palestinian people facing this horrible violence, and send a clear message to the British government that it must impose full sanctions on Israel now.

It is no coincidence that Israel is conducting these raids in the days running up to elections, in which candidates compete for votes by showing how extreme and racist they can be. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu promised the largest military operation in the West Bank since 1967. Israel’s finance minister Bezalel Smotrich posted a video of himself in front of bulldozers in the midst of demolitions, boasting that they are designed to “create deterrence and exact a price”. Defence minister Israel Katz said that Israel will do in Hebron what it has done in the Gaza Strip and in Lebanon.

Israel’s top-ranking officials are continuing to openly state their intentions to commit more war crimes. We must press the British government to recognise this reality and to implement and expand the sanctions already announced.

Join us in London tomorrow at 6 PM for this emergency protest. Keep your eyes on our social media tomorrow for further details about a confirmed location.

Our protests and campaigns have already forced the British government to implement some new sanctions on Israel, but it must go much further. Emergencies like this one show that every day without full sanctions will cost many more Palestinian lives.

The British government must take action now, and we must take to the streets to push for it.

In solidarity,

Ryvka
