Event Date: 20th April 2026

Stop the War Coalition

Calling all anti-war trade unionists and activists

On Monday 27 April we are holding an online meeting at 6:30pm to help mobilise for the International Conference Against War being held in London on 20 June.

We will hear from international speakers and trade unionists and urge you to join us to find out how you can help to build this crucial conference.

The need for strong Europe-wide anti-war action has never been greater. The timing of our upcoming conference could hardly be more pertinent.

Now it’s time to mobilise. We need to raise awareness in our trade union branches and begin organising delegations and transport asap. We need as many activists as possible building for this crucial anti-war conference.

European leaders are seeking to re-arm on a massive scale. They are openly promoting warfare at the expense of welfare as they prepare the continent for war. Let’s build the conference together.

Thousands will be heading to London for the conference. The costs are huge – and the cost for translation is high. Today our crowdfunder to help with translations costs went live.

If you would like to support the conference by donating you can do so here:

Italian dockers, German school students, French teachers, Spanish trade unionists, British anti-war activists and many more are heading to London in June. They will be discussing how to stop the new drive to war and the austerity it’s bringing with it. But to do so they need to be able to talk to each other. And that means translation. And professional translation costs money. Please help with these costs.
