Register here

Speakers: Paul Ingram (CSER) and David Cullen (BASIC)

Description: This webinar will provide an update on the UK’s nuclear weapons system, and the replacement programme, with a focus on US technological dependence. The speakers will review Euro-Atlantic relations and how recent political developments could affect the UK’s nuclear future. In addition, they will consider whether it would be realistic for the UK to develop a truly independent nuclear weapons system, or whether the fundamental choice is between continuing dependence on the US and renouncing nuclear weapons.
