We’re very pleased to invite you to an upcoming Britain Palestine Project webinar with Professor Peter Beinart, one of the most influential Jewish writers and political thinkers of our time.
Being Jewish after the destruction of Gaza
Tuesday 24 February 2026
3.00pm UK time
Online | Free – registration required
Drawing on his latest book, Being Jewish After the Destruction of Gaza, Peter Beinart will reflect on Jewish identity, moral responsibility, grief, dissent, and power in the aftermath of Gaza’s devastation.
This conversation is not about slogans or easy answers. It is an invitation to think seriously about ethics, memory, and responsibility – and about what it means to speak honestly at a moment of profound political and moral crisis.
Peter Beinart is Professor of Journalism and Political Science at the City University of New York, Editor-at-Large of Jewish Currents, and a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times. He is the author of four major books on Zionism, democracy, and American power, and a leading public voice on Israel–Palestine.
Register here.
We hope you can join us and we’d be grateful if you could share this invitation with colleagues and friends who may be interested.
Best wishes,
The team at Britain Palestine Project
