Online Briefing: Resisting Palantir and the privatisation of our hospitals

Event Date: 20th January 2026
Location: Online, 7pm

Across the NHS, data contracts and creeping privatisation threaten patient confidentiality, democratic accountability, and the founding principles of public healthcare.

Alongside our founder Jeremy Corbyn, we are hosting a live online briefing on YouTube at 7PM tomorrow evening Tuesday 20 January featuring campaigners, trade unionists and academics to examine the growing role of Palantir and other private corporations in our beloved health service — and to discuss how we can resist the outsourcing and marketisation of the NHS

Set a reminder for the online briefing on the link below and help us spread the word about tomorrow’s call:

Under Keir Starmer’s Labour government, it is absolutely clear that our NHS is not safe from the creeping influence of private US companies who want to destroy universal healthcare and profit from the sickness and misery of millions.

Jeremy Corbyn warned of high-level meetings between government officials and American private healthcare firms during the 2019 general election, but faced derision from many in the political and media establishment. The threat to our NHS that existed then remains today, and we must continue to raise our voices in defence of universal healthcare once again.

We are committed to defending our NHS and expanding the free at point-of-use model by removing all privatisation from our hospitals, GP surgeries and healthcare in our communities.

We look forward to seeing you at tomorrow evening’s online briefing!
