Time to Stop Militarism, War and Islamophobia

We are writing to ask you to join Stop the War so that you can be part of shaping the movement at our conference in March next year.

The world is more and more unstable. The war in Ukraine rages on. Israel continues its assault on the Palestinians and is lashing out against other neighbours. Europe is in the grip of a fever of militarism and Trump is threatening regime change in Venezuela. 

At home, the new war economy will mean more attacks on working people while serial foreign aggressions continue to stoke Islamophobia.

Stop the War has been central to the Palestine movement, to the campaign for welfare not warfare and to calls to end the slaughter in Ukraine. We urgently need to strengthen the movement across the country.

Our annual conference in London on 14 March, headlined Time to Stop Militarism, War and Islamophobia, brings together key figures in the movement and experts to assess this alarming situation and discuss how to respond. As well as plenary discussions there will be workshops on key issues and flashpoints.
