Venezuela: Defending The Zone of Peace & Organising Against Trump's War

Event Date: 8th December 2025
Location: Online 7pm

Donald Trump has brought us to the brink of a deadly escalation and US military action in Venezuela.

Peace & Justice Project, along with numerous parliamentarians, trade unions and peace organisations, has demanded the British government immediately calls for urgent de-escalation and withdrawal of US military forces in the Caribbean.

In response to these deeply concerning events, we are hosting an emergency call to discuss campaigning and the next organising steps we can take in order to prevent any more US interference in Latin America and the disastrous war Trump craves.

Join ‘Venezuela: Defending The Zone of Peace & Organising Against Trump’s War’ with our founder Jeremy Corbyn MP, Venezuelan Ambassador Felix PlasenciaRichard Burgon MP, Venezuela Solidarity Campaign national secretary Francisco Dominguez, and journalist Carolina Graterol at 7PM on Monday 8 December.

Register for the online briefing on the link below and help us spread the word:

Any US military intervention in Venezuela would undoubtedly bring death, destruction and instability to the region, and must be avoided at all costs.

Therefore, it is crucial that we understand the situation on the ground in Venezuela and across the Caribbean and ensure that the British government, along with others around the world, strongly oppose Trump’s cynical and catastrophic plans.

We look forward to seeing you on the call on Monday!

In solidarity,

Peace & Justice Project
