PSC’s lobby of Parliament for Palestine

This is an important update that PSC’s lobby of Parliament for Palestine has been moved a day earlier, and will now take place in Westminster Hall between 2 – 5.30pm on Tuesday 25th November.

Israel’s bombing of the Gaza Strip overnight shows that the genocide is far from over, and highlights the importance of pressing politicians to take action. You can help by registering for the lobby of Parliament, and by joining an emergency demonstration outside Downing Street tomorrow at 6pm.

Our original plan was to hold a mass lobby on Wednesday 26th November, but many MPs have indicated they won’t be available for meetings that day as it clashes with the Autumn Budget. While recognising that changing the date may cause some inconvenience, going to Parliament a day earlier ensures that we can have the biggest impact calling for sanctions against Israel.

Lobbying your MP is easy and anyone can join – you just need to be available to be in Parliament between 2pm–5.30pm on Tuesday 25th November. You can watch the video below which explains the whole process and guides you through the day.

You’ll also be sent a full briefing pack to help you prepare before arriving in Parliament, and lots of people will be around to advise and support you. The most important thing is to be there, joining hundreds of other constituents to tell your MP face-to-face that they must act now!

Peter, now is the time to ramp up pressure on our politicians. Last night Israel killed more than 100 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, including 46 children.

Israel still has the ability and the will to decide, as it pleases, to resume its horrific bombing on a defenceless population, still starving and suffering from a lack of food, water and medicine intentionally caused by Israel’s cruel and illegal siege. We must continue to push British politicians to implement full sanctions on Israel, including an immediate two-way arms embargo.
