Verses of Hope: National Peace Poetry Competition Awards Ceremony, Saturday 1 November

With the threat of war and nuclear weapons increasing it is vital that young people are given a platform to express their desire for a peaceful, hopeful world.
This is why CND’s peace education team brought together schools, students and poets to organise a national poetry competition, exploring issues of hope and peace.

To celebrate the winning entries and hear from the young poets themselves, CND is hosting an awards ceremony on Saturday, 1 November, taking place at Queen Mary University in East London.  We would be really delighted if you can show your support for these young people and their messages of peace by joining this event. It takes place in the fantastic BLOC cinema, part of Queen Mary University.
If you can attend, please register here to secure your free ticket.
