Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament

Today, Prime Minister Keir Starmer is hosting another ‘Coalition of the Willing’ meeting to push for greater supplies of long-range missiles for Ukraine in the devastating on-going conflict with Russia. British Storm Shadow Missiles have again been used, destroying a Russian chemical plant as Russian missiles and drones target Ukrainian energy supplies. Meanwhile the European Union is attempting to release €140 billion of frozen Russian state assets to fund even more lethal weaponry for Ukraine.

Overwhelming evidence that US nuclear bombs are now sited in Lakenheath, means that NATO is carrying out its biggest nuclear expansion across Europe and Britain since the Cold War. With Britain expanding its nuclear capability through the purchase of US F35A fighter jets, it could not be more urgent to bring together all those who want to stop these nuclear dangers and reverse the wider war drive.

That’s why we need you to join us at our conference, for a day of debate and activism. Stopping British nuclear expansion – how to reverse the government’s war drive on Saturday 22 November has a powerful line up of speakers from across the peace, environmental, student, and trade unions movements.
