Haugh will discuss the global threat landscape, including tensions in Europe, the Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East; implications for policy makers; and impacts of rapidly changing technologies on our economy and defense. His career focused on protecting the nation from cyber threats and he has deep experience managing complicated questions surrounding intelligence and surveillance of adversaries. General Haugh served as the Director of the NSA and U.S. Cyber Command until April 2025. General Haugh was commissioned in the Air Force in 1991 and spent much of his career working on issues related to intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and then cyber security.
