hereThe US Government recently announced its decision to pursue a space-based missile defence system – ‘the Golden Dome for America’. Although space-based strategic missile defence is not a new idea, the different geopolitical, economic and technological context in which this initiative is developing has raised new questions regarding the possible impact of the system on nuclear strategic stability.
The
ISYP /
SYP-UK project on Golden Dome includes a series of three expert-led webinars exploring:
1) What is the current status of the initiative? (25 September
