Help create a wall of noise as the arms dealers leave the DSEI event

Event Date: 10th September 2025
Location: 5pm at the Western Gateway to the Excel Centre

The government has banned the Israeli delegation from attending the DSEI arms fair in London, taking place in 10 days’ time. This is a welcome step that is testament to the strength of our movement. Inviting Israel to attend would have been rewarding an apartheid state committing genocide against Palestinians.

However, it is not enough – the government is still allowing Israeli arms companies to exhibit and market their weapons freely. The fair must be cancelled entirely.

On 10 September, join us to create a wall of noise as the arms dealers leave the event. Assemble at 5pm at the Western Gateway to the Excel Centre and bring pots and pans.

While it is significant that the British government has banned an Israeli delegation as a direct response to Israel’s genocide in Gaza, it is simply not enough.

Among the arms companies attending is Elbit Systems, which supplies the Israeli military with a range of weaponry essential to carry out its genocide, including armoured drones, bombs and artillery shells. Israeli arms companies, like Elbit Systems, develop and test their weapons through Israel’s atrocities against Palestinians, before using events like DSEI to market them to other repressive states as ‘combat-proven’.

This year, despite the ban on Israel’s official delegation, these companies will exhibit at DSEI alongside arms companies such as BAE Systems, which produces essential components for Israel’s fighter jets, used to bomb Palestinians in Gaza.

DSEI is a key event in facilitating Britain’s arms trade with Israel. It is essential that we confront it and show the strength of opposition among Londoners. Join us at 5pm at the Western Gateway to the Excel Centre. Bring pots and pans to create a wall of noise as the arms dealers leave, and to symbolise Israel’s starvation of Palestinians.

The decision to ban the official Israeli delegation falls shamefully short of the government’s obligations to prevent genocide, but it shows that our protests and campaigns are having an impact.

Now is the time to build more pressure on the government. This means mobilising a huge national demonstration on Saturday 6 September, and ensuring another big protest to oppose DSEI on Wednesday 10 September.

Join our protest to create a wall of noise as the arms dealers leave DSEI on 10 September.
