Abolition 2000's 30th Annual General Meeting

Event Date: 11th July 2025
Location: Online on July 11-12

The world is facing increasing nuclear threats and lack of progress on nuclear disarmament. Join nuclear risk-reduction and disarmament campaigners from around the world for Abolition 2000’s 30th Annual General Meeting, to help build the global movement for nuclear disarmament.

UNFOLD ZERO is proud to be an affiliated network of Abolition 2000, the global open-entry network for nuclear disarmament organizations and individuals established in 1995. Over 2000 organizations have endorsed the Abolition 2000 founding statement which outlines 11 concrete measures to achieve a nuclear-weapon-free world, some of which we have already achieved.

At the 2025 Annual Meeting we will exchange campaign updates, share reports from affiliated networks and Abolition 2000 working groups, discuss evolving nuclear disarmament challenges, and explore fresh strategies for advancing our shared goals. The meeting will take place online on July 11-12.  Click here to register.

Agenda:
Session 1:
Campaign updates and reports. Strategic discussion. Introduction of proposals. (Note: Session 1 will be held twice, once timed for participants from Asia and the Pacific, and again timed for participants from Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East).
