Stop Bombing Iran

We have called an emergency protest in London with CND outside the US Embassy for tonight (Monday) evening, 23 June at 6:30pm. Do all you can to join us. 

The reckless, unprovoked, unconstitutional bombing of Iran is a dangerous escalation that threatens to ignite not just another regional war, but potentially a catastrophic nuclear war.

It’s a deliberate act of aggression by two nuclear-armed powers — orchestrated without public debate, without legal authority, and without a shred of justification.

This is the beginning of a conflict that could kill thousands, further destabilise the Middle East, and drag both the US and the UK into another endless, bloody war. If we do not act now, this could spiral into catastrophic violence.

We urge all our local groups and supporters to hold similar protests in towns and cities around the country.

• Edinburgh - Monday 23 June, 5.30 pm, Foot of the Mound
• Manchester - Monday 23 June, 6 pm, St Peter’s Square
• Brighton - Monday 23 June, 5.30pm, Brighton Station
• Newcastle - Tuesday 24 June, 5.30 pm, Grey’s Monument

We refuse to let another war be launched in our name. We refuse to let more lives be shattered for imperial ambition. We will not be silent. We must respond. Immediately. In the streets.
