“From Tanks to Tearfund – one man’s journey towards peace”

We are delighted to welcome our speaker, Faringdon resident David Couzens, who gave a talk to Faringdon Peace Group last month entitled “Saving succeeding generations from the scourge of war”.

A tank commander for 30 years, he now heads up charity Tearfund’s peacebuilding team. He also works with the “Rethinking Security” network to promote the idea that real security cannot be achieved through war, but through justice and co-operation. “None of us are secure until all of us are”.
